Joyous Anticipation

Anticipating what’s to come,

Brings joy into my heart,

Planned, a family gathering,

We’ve been so long apart!

Children, great and grand, there, 

The one’s held, oh so dear,

At last, we’ll be together,

Comes forth, a joyous tear. 

Lord, you’ll be there with us, 

Within each heart entwined, 

Joining All, love’s sacred bond,

Held in Transcendent Mind.

In joyous anticipation, 

When time on earth is o’er,

The greatest family reunion,

Is what we have in store! 

We’ll understand most fully,

That All are family,

That love is what we’re made of,

As One Great Harmony.

So in this joyous reunion.

A foretaste you will feel,

Of what it’s like in heaven, 

I tell you dear, it’s real. 

I’ll be there fully present, 

Great joy we all will share,

Deeply nourished, dear one,

By love’s renewal, there. 

This poem will close with this verse,

And words that you have known,  

I am with you always, 

You are not alone.
