Words from Guidance for You
Words from Guidance for You
Our comfort zone is increased if we know exactly what we are going to say and do in a situation. We can then practice and rehearse and get it just right—down pat, as they say. But life is a spontaneous movement, and much of what will happen is unknown. So trust must be had to move forward, and this trust is something that can be practiced and developed over time.
What are we to trust in? Our innate talents and abilities to carry the thing off? Our past experience with similar situations that have occurred? There is always the possibility that what confronts us is out of our bailiwick, or has never confronted us before. We can be ‘thrown for a loop.’ Then what? We can best be prepared for life when we trust in that divine relationship that indwells us as we turn within. Here is the real comfort zone for us, and here is where practice makes perfect.
The solidarity of our relationship, and the knowledge that what unfolds will be in the best interest of all, is at the heart of this trust. Turning to Me within is never a rehearsal for something else. It is direct experience, it is original experience, and it is the truth of experience, there. What can we know for sure about this? That experience is always relational. When you fully get this, that you are never alone in life, your life will unfold with much greater ease and with a greater confidence in what unfolds. In addition, we will be joyful together as we live life as One. Drudgery be gone! Fear be gone! The power of living love is there, always.
Trust in Me, dear one, trust in our togetherness, and in the power of living love for whatever arises in life. I love you deeply, and know that you are never alone.
We cannot rehearse the unknown...
