Words from Guidance for You
Words from Guidance for You
Acts of kindness are worthy of real appreciation. How often have you felt a glow inside when someone has shown unexpected kindness? We feel warmth inside, and we are more likely to pass it on to others. We feel validated and respected when kindness is shown, particularly when experienced in a non-commercial setting. A smile, a word of thanks, letting someone else go ahead of you when coming to a line up in the car or on foot—these and innumerable other acts of kindness add to making the world a happier and more peaceful place.
If we all adopted The Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” suicide rates, stress and illness, divorce and family dissolution, and all matter of criminal activity would be diminished greatly. Political, social, economic, and cultural divides would be less important than the greater welfare of all the people, there.
Caring and thoughtfulness for others is not an ‘add-on’ to be used as a ‘sometime’ thing. It is a fundamental attribute of us as spiritual beings. It is the true nature of us, when we open to it. Our true nature as beings of living love, is truly an inclusive love, and leaves no one out. When we are kind to our fellow humans there, our brothers and sisters, we are actually being kind to the Greater Wholeness of whom we are, our greater family there. We are being kind to ourselves, our Oneness, our Source. We are showing love in action there.
Love in action can be most easily accessed when you connect within to Me, to your spiritual Wholeness. When you live out from our connection, the flow of this love will not be a ‘sometime’ thing, but will accompany you, always. It will be the truth of you, and will not be shown only upon rare and isolated occasions. Now this will benefit you, there, not only the recipient of your kindness, but you. For the power of this love flowing through you will heal you, change you, and open you to the joy of your being. It will be the truth of you coming through.
Join with Me and let us together be love in action. I love you mightily, and know that you are never alone.
Gentle kindness—much to appreciate...
