Words from Guidance for You
Words from Guidance for You
At Christmas time, there are often mixed feelings about giving gifts. The pressure is on from the media, tradition, and the culture to be extravagant in gift giving. The more gifts one gets, and the more expensive they are, the more valued the receiver is supposed to feel. For a child not to receive many packages under the tree is considered a heartless thing. Parents and others go into deep debt to provide this for their families. In a week or two, the toys are often forgotten and dismissed as yesterday’s passing fancy.
Lasting, meaningful, and genuinely helpful gifts are there to give though, and may come in different forms then what can fit under the tree. Time spent with your child or that important person in your life is a great and meaningful gift. Time having fun together with no purpose other then to be there for that one is a caring and wonderful gift. Talking, engaging, listening, and appreciating that one for who they are, is an authentic gift of self. Does this one like the sights and sounds of nature? Being out in the natural world is life-enhancing for many. This gift of togetherness can be a real antidote for loneliness and feelings of low self worth, so prevalent in the lives of many today.
Gifts that foster artistic and creative expression in painting, drawing, music, dance, or any of the arts are also fine gifts that can have lasting and far-reaching appeal for the young or any age. Encouraging and validating this expression is life-enhancing for the receiver.
I want to gift you with what will make you happy. For let’s face it, gifting is about making the other happy. That is what we want when we give gifts. We want to bring joy and a smile to the one we love, there. You see, dear one, I know what will make you happy. I know what will bring you fulfillment and I know what will truly gift you, there. I want you to feel the ebullience of life, and the fulfillment you so unabashedly deserve. My gift to you is ongoing, and knows not of a tree, a season, or a day. It is an ongoing gifting of a relationship that opens the door to living love and its renewing and transforming power, there.
This desire to gift you is not a passing fancy or a fleeting idea. It is what I am about! I am about gifting to all those who turn to Me. I am about clearing the decks of separation and revealing the truth of who you are to you. My gift is releasing you from the cage, the bars of the ego, and into the freedom of whom you really are, your authentic, divine self and at One with your Father/Mother God. Let me gift you, dear one. Let Me bring you joy and happiness, there. I so earnestly want to gift you. Turn within to Me. I love you, and know that you are never alone.
I want to gift you...
