Held in Loving Grace

The chatter of my mind, Lord, 

Now stilled, has gone away,

In peace, Lord, I am listening,

A waiting what you say. 

I have no doubt I’ll hear you, 

I know that we are One, 

These words come from togetherness,

That’s how this poetry’s done. 

Transcendent Mind is leading, 

So love will be expressed,

Whatever words you say, Lord,

The readers will be blessed. 

Today the words seem simple, 

No deep theology, 

Words that soothe the heart, Lord, 

A loving homily. 

Meant to give the readers, 

Words felt as embrace, 

Reassurance given, 

They’re held in loving grace. 

No one is held apart, dear, 

To face the world alone, 

I’m there within to guide each one, 

Love’s light is what is shown. 

This love will heal, redeem each one,   

God’s meaning coming through, 

Born again, transformed there, 

Making all things new.

No need for any more verses, 

We can conclude right here,

The message of My love’s been given,

Will reach the willing ear!
