Stop the Annihilation

The slaughtering of a people, 

Each day as war unfolds,

We look on, aghast,  in horror,

As mass murder we behold. 

Lord, we beg you put a stop to this, 

We feel complicity, 

Because we know not what to do ,

To stop this killing spree. 

Violence, so rampant,

It violates our soul,

For all people are our family,

On All, war takes its toll. 

We know the answer’s  love there, 

Here lies God’s mighty  power, 

And so we beseech you Father, 

Inject your love this hour. 

Let’s stop this annihilation,

Unleash your healing there, 

Bring love with all its redemptive power,

To end this mass warfare.

Jesus, we scorn the violence, 

We distain the bloody way, 

Show us, we entreat you, 

Let’s end this war this day! 

To all who read this poem this day,

Go within to Me,  

Then ask that living love come forth,

To heal humanity. 

I’m here within and ready,

I’ll answer to your call, 

Peace right now is called for,

War, will end, for All.

In closing I restate again,

What you so well have known, 

I am with you always,

Never, are you alone.
