We Are Family

We’re born into a family,

And here we come to know,

That we are loved and cared for,

Where we can thrive and grow. 

Our parents if we’re blessed there, 

Take family life in stride,

Cherishing their children,

For all their needs provide. 

Here we learn what love is, 

We feel that we belong, 

Secure in that we matter,

Not tossed, if we do wrong. 

Now, dear one, I tell you, 

We, too, are family, 

You belong securely, 

Joined as One  with Me. 

I care about you deeply,

Your wrongs don’t deter Me, 

For I see who you really are,

Your perfect, whole, and free.

Consider Me your parent, 

Your teacher, guide, and friend, 

 Never are you alone, dear, 

I love you without end. 

I’m your sure foundation, 

In Mind, true sanity, 

And love will be the reason, 

Joy reigns with you and Me. 

In closing let Me say again, 

I love you as My Own, 

Joined as One forever,

Never are you alone.
