A Cause for Celebration

A marriage event has happened,

We celebrate the two,

Overcoming obstacles,

This couple made it through.

They’ve vowed to love each other,

They’ve publicly declared, 

To be a committed couple.

All things, together, shared.  

Along with celebration, Lord,

Please open up each heart, 

To spiritual understanding,

A necessary start!

A start of recognizing, 

They issue forth from Source,

When turned to right within each mind, 

Will keep each one on course. 

Will guide, inspire, and lead each one, 

To weather storms that come, 

From darkness to the light, Lord, 

Where joy truly comes from. 

Will fill their lives with hope, Lord,

Will ego minds release,

Will come to know of Oneness, 

Divisions will surcease. 

They’ll know that love, God’s meaning,

Is power beyond compare,

Healing and redeeming, 

Transforming everywhere. 

In closing, to all couples, 

Who choose commitment’s way, 

I am with you always, 

I’ll lead you through each day. 

Let’s celebrate together,

Love’s sweet, yet binding seal,

Sealed with the Greater Wholeness, 

Aa One, with Love, so real!
