Not Like A Commando

I’m not like a commando,

Nor holy potentate, 

I’m not a formidable ruler,

Nor will I shout, dictate.

I offer you My guidance,

Based on Totality, 

I see the Whole of what’s going on,

I see your entirety.

I honor your gift of free will, dear,

No pressure will I bear,  

And so the gifts I offer, 

You must want them, there. 

The gift of spiritual guidance, 

Of relationship so real,

The gift of love unfettered, 

Its power to transform, to heal.

When you join with Me, dear, 

In peace, let thinking go,

You’ll find that your connected,

Transcendent Mind will flow.  

Here you find your Oneness, 

All That Is is you,

Universal Mind your Wholeness,  

It’s how God’s Will comes through.

I am the Voice for Truth, dear, 

Your authenticity, 

Entwined as One forever,

Turn here now, choose Me. 

Now’s the time to join, dear, 

Don’t wait for a better time, 

No time like the present, 

My love will flow, sublime. 

In closing, let Me tell you,

What you know, so well, is true, 

I am with you always, 

Never alone are you.

Veteran’s Day

Today’s a day of honoring,

Those soldiers who have served,

Some gave their lives for others, 

In quiet, we observe.

We recognize the sacrifice,

They died so we could live,

In freedom and in safety, 

Respect to them we give. 

Yet, deep down we question,

Why can’t we live in peace?

Has not mankind the wisdom?

To let the killing cease? 

Have we not come further, 

Have not our hearts evolved? 

Can’t we find a better way,

To get our problems solved? 

This planet belongs to all of us,

It’s the only home we know, 

Let’s learn to share and compromise,

Let’s help each other grow. 

Grow in helping other’s,

Care for All God’s own,

Let the light of love lead onward, 

To fulfillment, far beyond what’s known.   

Let’s find what we share together,  

As people, we’re the same,  

Why play up the differences? 

Why feed on hate and blame? 

Today, let’s pray we awaken,

To how useless is war and strife,

Killing, maiming, harming, 

It’s a tragic waste of life. 

I’m here within to help you,

Find peace, then turn to Me,

As love pours right on through you,

To heal humanity.  

In closing let Me tell you, 

The truth, known spiritually,

All peoples and All nations, 

Are One, God’s family.

Each one you meet is precious, 

Valued beyond compare,

Is One with God’s own meaning. 

Worthy of love, right there!
