Trust Like a Child

This seems like a simple call, and yet many find it difficult. Are we to forgo planning, strategizing, arranging, making sure, and deliberating there? Are these not signs of our intelligence? And yet, we are called on to trust like a child by our Source, our Heavenly Father. 

How and why are we to let go of our need to know in advance, to make sure, and to cover our bases, as the saying goes? Well, dear one, what our Source has for us may come as a complete surprise and may be out of the realm of what you might call normal consequences there. Would you not put more faith in your Maker, your Intelligent Designer, Universal Mind,  than in your own will and understanding? You can never know all or who is involved in what is unfolding in your life. You do not know the far-reaching involvement of your Oneness with Source in what unfolds for you. 

In trusting in the power of God’s living love for you, lies the majesty and the mystery of life in all its newness. I have used this poetic phrase before, but it fits here also. God wills to give you bountiful blessings of beautiful bliss. Now what unfolds is truly for your benefit and for the well being of others there too, dear one. And so, trusting in God’s will for you is an unselfish act and an act of surrender and fulfillment at the same time. 

A child holds the hand of his or her parent and walks beside that parent trusting that he she is being led in the best way possible. So likewise, we too should hold hands, join within to our Divine Parent and let Me show the way. I am with you to give you next steps, and I am moving to the light of God’s living love as I guide you there. Let go of your concern and worry and embrace what is unfolding as you join with Me each and every day, and each and every moment.  I will guide you perfectly in living love, dear one. So do not try to over-ride my guidance with your own knowing,  for always it will be limited, there. Let go and let God as is said. I love you dearly, and know that you are never alone.

Trust Like a Child

Trust is a releasing,

It’s like a letting go,

You place your hand in mine there, 

And childlike you know. 

You know that joined with Me there, 

Fear will now subside,

Confident in our union,

With Me you now abide.  

Trust that our loving Father, 

Wants only what is best, 

And gives His gift of Oneness,

With living love we’re blessed. 

We know that living love there, 

God’s meaning e’re so true, 

Renewing and redeeming, 

Gives healing light for you. 

Trust means you need not worry,

Nor fill up with unrest,

Let go of anxious stasis,

God’s love relieves all stress.

Trust, it is a knowing,

That all that will unfold, 

Is given from our Father,

With Him, the story’s told. 

As children, let us listen, 

Our Parent knows the way, 

We trust His love felt for us,

Let’s go, in peace, this day. 

Some say trust’s naive there,

For simple ones, and those,

Who fail to formulate a plan, 

To cover all life’s woes. 

I tell you as a Friend there, 

As One who loves you true,

Trusting is the answer,

God’s love will see you through. 

So place you hand in mine, dear, 

I will lead you, there, 

Trust God’s love will guide us,

To joy beyond compare.

In closing let Me tell you, 

What surely you have known

 I am with you always,

With Me you’re not alone.
