A Time Will Come

There’ll come a time when you will sense,

Your time on earth soon through,

Behind you is a lifetime, 

Ahead, there’s Home for you. 

Preparation now is called for,

Turn within to Me, 

With your heart and soul in readiment,

You’ll leave there happily.

Release the excess baggage,

The stuff that drags you down. 

So when you’re gone your others,

Can smile instead of frown. 

Then quietly within, dear, 

Stay joined as One with Me, 

I’ll show you steps to take each day, 

You’ll pass so peacefully.

Remember what I tell you,

That the end’s a beginning time,

This chapter in your life soon done,

In your eternal book, sublime.

But much more there, ahead for you,

More chapters there to live, 

And when the time is right for you,

So happily, you’ll give.  

Stay joined with Me each moment, 

No harshness will there be, 

But a sweet and gentle fond farewell,

Held warm and close with Me. 

And when you’re welcomed back, my dear,

Embraced in love so real,

So many there to greet you, 

Home, at last, you’ll feel. 

For now, continue on, dear, 

Listening to what I say, 

Enjoy the time you’ve left, dear, 

Stay with Me each day!
