The Gift Of Listening

Listening without judgement is a gift we can give our friends and neighbors. How valuable is this gift to someone who has a deep need to unload, to share in what is weighing heavily on that one’s mind and heart. To listen attentively without correcting,  evaluating, condemning or praising is a great gift, indeed.

 If we are asked for feedback or input, let us not give a knee-jerk reaction, but rather quietly turn within to Me for the right words to say. You will be giving a gift that will touch the heart, and will offer a way forward for that one. You see, in this way you are the Voice for Truth coming through to that one. You are being Love’s Presence right there, right where you are. You are being the place where co-creation unfolds anew.

Now I am here to give you the gift of My listening to you.  It is true that I already know the burdens you bear,  but I also know the importance of having you tell Me what you are feeling at this time. And so, I am there always, ready to listen and guide you dear one, as our Source would have it. As the holiday season is upon us, let us be ever mindful of this genuine gift of listening we can give. I love you dearly and know that you are never alone. 

Listen With Intention

You are the front line person,

With people met each day, 

A witness to the light of love, 

Our joining leads the way. 

An encounter may be short or long, 

I’ll guide you to what’s true,

To what will help a lonely heart,

 Feel joined, as one, with you.

A smile, a word of kindness, 

When given with pure intent,

Validates that person, 

‘You’re worthy’ is what’s meant. 

Alienation felt so strong,

In a world cold, empty, bare, 

Caring for each other,

Is what’s so needed, there.  

Light and love well given, 

Will warm the frozen heart,

This, when joined, your mission, 

How you can do your part! 

Not like a rehearsed greeting, 

Each encounter, unique, will be, 

Given from Me just for that one, 

Will help, specifically.

So listen with intention,

Then share just what you hear, 

The results of this, you may never know, 

Just trust in Me, my dear.

You are the front line person, 

So go with Me each day,

Love’s light will be our beacon, 

Sharing love, God’s way.
