Begin Anew This Moment

The mindset of the ego,

That sees itself as true,

Constantly spins its tale, there,

Proclaiming that it’s you. 

It looks for when your troubled,

Then it flings its snare, 

Whispering," Spiritual guidance,

Is  just wishful thinking" there.

It’s telling you to hang on,

To listen to its gist,

Without your rapt attention,

It knows it can’t exist. 

Don’t listen to this marauder,

Say out loud. "Be gone!

You’re not real presence, just defense,

Fear-based, corrupt, all wrong!" 

Now’s the time to find your peace, 

Turn quietly within, 

Ask humbly that I join you,

I’m here, so let’s begin. 

Begin, anew, this moment,

In our relationship you’ll find,

Living love, with all its power,

Will heal your fractured mind.

You’ll feel the truth of who you are,

Here joined, in joy with Me, 

Living love will point the way,

God’s will, our destiny. 

Stultification now gone, dear, 

Heavy, your heart, no more, 

Joined with your Transcendent Mind,

Lightly, in truth, we soar! 

In closing, on this Day of Rest,

Let Me state again what’s true,

I am with you always,

And deeply, I love you.
