A Fork in the  Road

You’ve  found you’re at a juncture, 

A side road’s there this day,

The road, once straight and narrow,

Presents a different way. 

You feel it’s mighty tempting,

A pleasure path it seems,

Yet, could it be ego beckoning? 

Promising false dreams? 

Nothing seems misleading, 

Yet, wait — let’s stop a while,

Turn within for guidance, 

Your integrity’s on trial! 

The fork would lead away, dear,

Would leave mission far behind, 

Caught up in ego’s pleasures,

You’d soon be in a bind!

Hear Me loud and clear, dear,

Stay on the straight highway, 

God’s wisdom I am giving,

Follow what I say!

We have for you a vision,

A plan for you to give,

The message of our Oneness,

To help all others live!  

Don’t forsake your mission,

Just keep your eyes on Me, 

Don’t turn away from what you know,

Fulfill your destiny! 

Yes, you have a choice, dear, 

Freely, you must choose,

If you choose to take the fork, 

My guidance you won’t lose. 

But let Me echo one more time, 

Stay true, entwined with Me, 

A treasure without measure, 

You’ll help humanity! 

In closing, I will tell you,

You’ll have no regrets to feel,

You’ll be so glad you stayed on course,

For love is what is real!
