Love’s Reverberation

Today my children helped me out,

By cleaning up the yard,

They raked and sawed and pulled and dug,

Oh My! They worked so hard!

My heart was filled with gratitude,

For their willingness to come,

Remembering that now I’m old—

My knees and joints are bum.

Our lunch we shared outside, there,

Was filled with so much fun,

We laughed and talked together,

And basked in Spring’s warm sun.

’Twas more than what it seemed there,

This love and harmony,

Brought forth a host of unseen guests,

Who shared our company.

For here, God’s very meaning,

Living love so true,

Was shared by the Whole Oneness—

Found joy in this love, too!

This poem, its reason’s two-fold,

One, to express deep gratitude,

To God and to the children,

For love they well exude.

The other reason is to say,

That love when it is shown,

Reverberates in Oneness,

For All, this love is known!

So love, when given from the heart,

Does more than what you see,

Brings God’s meaning to the earth,

Right there — Transcendency!

In closing let Me say again,

I’m here within for you,

Find the truth of who you are,

A Child of God, so true!
