Mother’s Day  2023

Like the warmth of the sun, is our Mother’s love,

Throughout the years, it shines,

Even when she’s gone, departed,

Her love’s the tie that binds.

The tie that binds our heartstrings,

To her, and to our children, too,

Her love goes on forever,

Through generations, it passes through. 

Our Mother’s, Grands, and Great-Grands,

All had a part to play,

Bestowing their love to their children,

Each unique, in her own way. 

Love, like genetic material,

Is our meaning from above,

Our Mom’s are Co-Creators,

God pours through them His love.

If your Mom was somehow unable,

To give her love to you,

Don’t be harsh on her, dear reader,

Know doubt, she wanted to. 

If you have a heartache,

Feel an emptiness is there,

I’m here to fill it up, dear,

My love will heal, repair.

 Be kind to your dear Mother,

Will you reach out to share?

Worthy of your grateful heart,

Let her know you care.

In closing I would tell you,

Mother’s, this is true,

In honor of your loving hearts, 

I give My love to you!
