Now The Day Is Closing

Now the day is closing,

Let’s do a brief review, 

Joy was shared with many,

And a hearty potluck, too!

These friends you know so well, dear,

You’ve known them for so long,

Each one is My beloved,

As One, we all belong. 

Not only did you bring a dish,

So carefully prepared,

You came with your mind joined with Mine—

Transcendent love you shared!

You felt the love of others,

How good that made you feel, 

And so, in turn, love poured through you, 

Such a blessing, was that meal!

You made a list of all the names,

Some twenty friends you knew, 

Each one a point of love and light, 

Love’s meaning coming through.

And so, this day’s now over,

A happy, warm review,   

Stay joined for what tomorrow brings, 

With love, each day brand new!

Those who read this simple poem,

Might say, ’What’s here for me?’

Joined as One with Me, dear, 

You’ll find Transcendency!

Scribe of Mine, I Love You,

Don’t hesitate — write this,

I joy in our togetherness, 

As One, we share such bliss!

No need to feel self-conscious, 

When love’s proclaimed for you,

Accept it without judgement,

Embrace My love so true!
