When Others Disappoint You

When others disappoint you,

The ones you love and trust, 

You’re left alone and down cast,

Left standing in the dust, 

It’s time to turn to Me, dear,

With guidance, I’ll help you,

See disappointment,  sadness, 

Fade away from view. 

Let go of your attachment,

To what never was secure, 

Instead, come running to My Arms, 

Where My Love will endure. 

Come find your place of shelter,

Your home, your Sacred Place,

Where belonging is a given, 

And Love heals with its Grace. 

Don’t shun the ones who left you,

Don’t view them with dismay,

These actions are from ego, 

Forgiveness is God’s way.

Let’s trust that all that happened,

Served God’s purpose, dear,

An understanding will emerge, 

‘Twill make His Meaning, clear.

You have a steady anchor,

A ballast strong with Me, 

The winds of change unfolding,

Reveal your destiny. 

So as this day now closes,

And as we end this poem,

Come back into My Arms of Love, 

Together, we’re at home!
