Ending Points

Have you recently lost a friend or a loved one? Has someone you cared about moved away? Have you ended a job or an activity that meant a lot to you? Has your favorite store closed or a tv show been cancelled? These end points, whether large or small, mean something valued is now gone. To one degree or another, loss is a ‘take away.’

 Now we adjust to these end points, these changes, and realize that change is a constant, and that it will happen to us whether planned or unplanned. Change is the movement of life unfolding anew. How are we to get through these ending points and welcome in the new? How can we embrace change as the open door to something new? 

It is in turning to the changeless within us. It is in returning to the foundational truth of our divine inheritance and knowing that nothing can separate us from the love of our Source, there. 

Dear One, I am always with you and there is no end point with Me, now or throughout eternity. I am the constant in your life and open the gates to the love that heals, redeems, renews, and transforms, there. Now these words may seem to grand for you to embrace  and make real in your life. So let Me put it in everyday terms, dear one. I am your best friend. Like a familiar and beloved family member, a confidante whom you trust and can ‘let it all hang out with’ and who indeed, is intertwined with you inexplicably. 

The spiritual reality of the resurrected Jesus is with you always, as you do so open to let Me in, dear one. There is no end point with Me, there is no ‘take away’ with Me, and there is no loss as you open to Me. There Is joy, peace, and the delight of ‘ever unfolding anew’ each day, each moment, there. Call on Me in times of distress and in the normal and everyday times, too. Call on Me and let Me fill you with the fulness of our relationship. I love you dearly, and know that you are never alone.

The Barometer of Change

How can change be measured,

If invisible, unseen?

What barometer will tell us,

Its measurements to glean. 

Our outlook will inform us,

Is happiness in the air?

The atmospheric pressure,

With joy, surrounds us there. 

Change in life’s a given. 

Life has its ‘ups and downs,’

Yet changeless is My love for you,

Forever, love abounds.

Let not your heart be troubled,

Let change cause no dismay, 

God’s agency of love, there,

Lightens, renews your way.  

The Mindset of Connection,

With Me, with Source, so true, 

Opens to Transcendence, 

God’s love comes pouring through.

Dynamic in its function, 

Love fills us with its peace,

God’s energy of meaning, 

Transforms without surcease. 

The barometer of change, dear,

Is known when you’re with Me,

And sudden shifts of pressure,

Are dealt with easily.

A barometer, a gauge, there,

Just metaphors, its true,

In truth, My love is measureless,

Unbounded, ever new.  

In closing of this poem, dear,

I affirm what you have known, 

I love you dearly always,

You are not alone.
