Presidential Hopefuls

We are entering a period of intense political activity. Candidates on both sides are vying for the presidency. It will be the ongoing American past time for the next several months and beyond. People’s attention will be brought hither and yon to the spectacles of trials and juries, debates and the debacles that will certainly emerge. Polls and pollsters will predict who is ahead and who is behind. As spiritual beings and living from the joined with Source mindset, what are we to make of all of this, and what part should we play? Good questions to ask!

The leader of the free world should be a person of great integrity, not only in his professional life, but in his personal life, too. Leaders, by their very nature, are those whom others, especially the young, emulate. The American president represents to the rest of the world what the country stands for, and the values of a democratic and free society. He sees All the people as those whom he represents. Not only the wealthy and the middle class, but the poor, those immigrating here, and those who are caught in the disasters that do arise more frequently now. 

I would ask you to look at each candidate through the lens of your highest expectations. Who has led an exemplar life and who has shown the leadership qualities we would want in one who represents us? One who has the wisdom and character to respond to the highest and best mankind has to offer. Yes, there is a separation of church and state, and yet does this person have a foundational understanding of God and the spiritual nature of mankind, there? This is not incidental, dear one, and fundamental to the carrying on of leadership in this country and to the world. Let the individual person and not just the party be your guideline, there. 

Take the time necessary, over the next weeks and months, to really examine each one and take the time necessary to come into the joined mindset and ask Me for guidance in this. I will guide you and I will show you the way! I love you dearly and know that you are never alone. 

The Politics of Jesus

I’m not concerned with power,

Nor do I choose a side,

’Tis only for the people,

With them I do abide.

Some say I’m right of center,

The left side won’t agree,

Some quote my words, and some distain,

They’ll have no part of Me.  

Where does Jesus fit in then? 

Should He claim absentee?   

Not wanted at the ballot box?

 I say, ” Choose your vote with Me.”  

As with all your choices,

Quiet ego mind,

Join with peace and ask Me in,

The truth, indeed, you’ll find. 

Love is God’s healing energy,

In politics as everywhere,

So open to renewing power,

Bring love’s true light to bear. 

Transformation can take place,

With answers still unknown,

Beyond our wildest imagination,

Seeds of love are sown.

Bring trust and spiritual guidance,

Love and intention’s care,

Then fulfilling God’s Great Purpose,

We’ll awaken Oneness, there.

Let the people be united,

As One Great Loving Force,

Where all are cared for deeply,

We move as One, with Source. 

This vote will be for nation,

Yet we move globally,

This planet is our home there,

So vote holistically.

Decide on who will benefit,

Who, how, and why take note,

That which helps most people,

For them, let’s cast the vote. 

Freedom to vote, your right there,

Don’t give this right away,

Take the time to join with Me,

We’ll cast our vote, God’s way.
