A Beacon’s Light

Your heart is like a beacon, 

Sending signals out to sea,

And wandering ones like ships there, 

Are led by what they see. 

Are you just a little glow,

Faint and not to bright?

Can others find their way back home,

By following your light?

The brightness of your heart, dear, 

If love is brought to bear, 

’Twill make the night like daylight, 

Brings sunshine everywhere! 

Living love’s the fuel there, 

God’s meaningful energy,

Its power’s in transmission, 

Your heart, the beacon, be. 

Your heart, your mind, your actions, 

The words that come through you, 

If joined with Me, transcendent,

Send forth God’s loving view.

So be a beacon’s light, dear, 

Right there, right where you are, 

Giver and recipient,

You are God’s shining star. 

I’m down pouring My love, dear, 

Turn within to Me,

 Blessed  beyond all blessing, 

One with God are we.  

In closing let Me tell you, 

What you so well have known,

I am with you always, 

You are not alone.
