Time on Earth’s for Learning

A sadness looms inside me, 

It’s like I’m saying goodbye, 

To life and all its sweetness, 

And sometimes, now I cry. 

So many years have past now,

I’ve loved so much that’s here, 

People that I’ve known, Lord,

So many I’ve held dear. 

I turn to you for comfort, Lord,

For guidance, what to do,

Should I table all these feelings, 

Or is my life soon through? 

Your feelings are important, dear, 

Yet remember what is true, 

Time on Earth’s for learning, 

Your life is never through. 

You’ve learned that we are One, dear, 

In peace, within, we’re bound, 

My Presence filled with living love,  

Transcendent Mind, you’ve found. 

When you do go home, dear,

It won’t be a surprise, 

You’ll have time to prepare there, 

Before you close your eyes. 

I know what makes you happy, 

I know the time you need, 

Rest assured you’re in good hands, 

Together, as One, indeed.

Live each day with Me there,  

Let your sadness go, 

Find joy in our togetherness, 

Let living love forth flow.  

In closing of this poem, dear, 

I tell you what you’ve known,

I am with you always, 

You are not alone!
