In Sickness and in Health

Listen with intention,

To what I ‘m telling you,

No heavy spiritual doctrine, 

My words are simple, true. 

You’ll understand completely,

Ambiguity serves no one, 

My words will carry meaning, 

’Tis how God’s Will is done. 

In sickness and in health, dear,

I will do My part,

My sacred vow, My promise, 

Embedded in your heart. 

You’re going through hard times, now,

Soon they’ll be history,

The sun will shine and you’ll feel great,

Renewed, with love, you’ll be.

Today, I encourage rest, dear, 

Slow way down, your pace,

Be with Me in quiet,

Healing will take place. 

Let’s end this little poem. dear. 

Readers will understand, 

The need for rest, recovery, 

Let’s go, dear, take My hand.
