Make A Firm Commitment

The scribe is berating herself for sliding into a behavior that does not serve her well. Just a careless moment of indolence, a choice to let go of desired and helpful behaviors for the quick fix of what use to provide pleasure, but she is aware is a false high, a sugar-like high, that is harmful to her. Oh well, she thought,  it won’t hurt just this once. 

Once becomes twice and soon the old habits, ways of being, once thought gone, are reinstated again.  I am telling her this need not be! She can make a firm decision to get back on track with joining with her Right Mind, her Authentic Mind, her Transcendent MInd, with Me, and find peace and right knowing, right living, right from within.  It does take vigilance and a firm decision to continue to live joined, but the outcome, the ‘right-on’ feeling is so worth it and so true to whom one is, that the choice is, without doubt, the true way to live.  

Now I am not chastising Randi, nor pointing a finger there, for guilt serves no purpose, ever.  She realizes most fully what she wants and she has no regrets about letting go of the old and embracing the new, the  abiding truth of her Oneness with Source. She is also aware that she must choose on a daily basis to join with Me, to live out from guidance, from her Divine Self. The ego, though not a real presence, will pop up, when indolence is there. Let this false use of mind that has no substance in reality, go, dear one, and continue to extinguish it as it is ignored as the nothingness it is. Let go of the old and welcome the new! Make a firm commitment to join with Me.  I love you dearly, and know that you are never alone.

Make a firm commitment, 

Use well your own free will, 

To be a constant listener, 

Life’s purpose to fulfill. 

Quiet the distractions, 

The ego’s jumping mind,

Find peace then ask Me in, dear, 

Transcendency you’ll find. 

I’ll be there in the quiet,

The Voice for Truth you’ll hear, 

Perfect love unfolding, 

God’s way for you made clear. 

You must decide to listen,

Don’t neglect this vital part,

You open up love’s door, dear, 

When asking from your heart. 

The cacophony of ego,

Its intrusions, haughty spiel, 

Will portray itself as who you are,

Says, ‘that spiritual stuff’s unreal.’

Disregard this defense mind, 

Made up because of fear, 

Let peace and quiet fill that space, 

Our Holy Place, my dear. 

We’ll joy in our togetherness,

Life’s purpose here now found,

To be God’s point of light and love, 

As One in truth we’re bound. 

So as you read this poem, dear, 

Make your commitment true,

To live life joined as One with Source, 

I’m here dear, loving you!
