Reminder to Remember

I’m writing to remind you,

To remember who you are,

To not forget your heritage,

You are God’s Shining Star!  

This means that you are light there, 

To shine, illuminate, 

God’s meaning brought to where you are, 

His love, to radiate.

The falsehood of the ego, 

Your made-up use of mind, 

Fills you with its discontent,

Dark fear is what you’ll find.

When mired in ego’s muddiness, 

When sullied and when hurt, 

Remember, dear, you’re not alone,

 I’ll wash clean ego’s dirt. 

You’ll soon feel love’s connection, 

Your identity made clear, 

Aligned with your Transcendence,

You’ll shine with light, my dear! 

A Child of God, forever,

As One, eternally bound,

His Will, through you, is given, 

Your purpose now is found! 

Go within, each day, dear,

Here, such peace of mind, 

My friendship fully present,

Deep joy is what you’ll find! 

A reminder to remember, 

What you so well have known, 

I am with you always,

You are not alone!
