The People That You’re Drawn To

The people that you’re drawn to, 

The ones you want so near,

’Tis not their rank, nor achievement,

But uniqueness, you hold dear. 

These ones you love are open, 

Non-defended, nor uptight, 

They pretend to be no other, 

Their realness brings delight. 

They may have survived hardships, 

Weathered storms along life’s way, 

Yet deep within they’ve found their truth, 

In peace, they live, each day. 

They’re a part of something greater,

Of God, who’s alway been,

That Voice of Truth abiding, 

When e’er they turn within. 

You feel their love and caring, 

Their willingness to give, 

These ones provide such comfort,

Reinforce your will to live. 

If you are blessed, you’ve known such ones, 

They’ve helped to get you through, 

I tell you, dear, I see so clear, 

That one like this,’tis you!

I’ll bring those to you who’re in need, 

Just listen to My Voice,

The words you hear and then put forth, 

Will be the perfect choice. 

Where love can flow on through you,

You’ll be God’s point of light, 

Fulfilling Divine Purpose,

Of healing blinded sight. 

In closing, I would say again,

I’m here within for you, 

Let’s live each moment joined, dear, 

Let rapturous love come through!
