An Easter Invitation

Many have arisen,

To go to church, to pray,

To sing out hallelujah,

It’s Resurrection Day! 

Triumphant is its message,

No ordinary thing, 

I rose from that dark sepulcher,

To show, death has no sting! 

Many people saw Me, 

” He’s here! The Lord’s alive!”

How wonderful to share good news, 

In spirit, All survive!

I promised I’d be with them, 

They need but call My name,

To love them and to guide them, 

It’s why to Earth I came!

So on this very Easter, 

I share again, good news! 

I am with you always, 

For Me you need but choose. 

Life is everlasting,

And Love is what you are, 

You issue forth from God, dear, 

You are His shining star! 

Let’s sing out hallelujahs, 

Rejoice, I’m here, it’s true, 

My promise kept forever, 

Entwined with love, with you. 

If broken, I will heal you, 

Your fears, I will erase, 

Your needs all taken care of, 

All done with Love, God’s grace! 

I see you not as sinner, 

But perfect, whole, and free, 

God holds you in His Mind, dear, 

His Child, authentically!

In closing, hold My hand, dear,

Between just you and Me, 

An Easter invitation, 

Find who you’re meant to be!
