Take Time To Care 

You received a phone call,

A friend was calling you,

Invited you to lunch, dear,

Time spent with her, past due. 

She had made the effort,

Put out the energy,

You are grateful that she called, 

She’s worthy company!

A lesson, a reminder,

To take the time to care,

To keep in touch with loved ones,

Good friendships‚ cherish there. 

You are my beloved, 

And I am calling you, 

For now and evermore, dear, 

Take time for what is true.

A Friend, a Guide, a Savior,

Forget not, I’m right here, 

As close as your next breath, am I,

Choose, Me, Choose love, my dear. 

Life is filled with lessons,

With ways to chart life’s course,

With Me, your mind receives them,

Always, they’re from Source.  

Take time for friends and family,

Show them that you care,

Let love light up the way, dear, 

Always, I am there!
